That having been said I think a tax cut will increase the amount that GDP can grow in the long run.

Obviously the GDP is not going to be allowed to grow any faster than it has been. The FOMC has made this clear every meeting for as long as I can remember. This argument might have made some sense in 1980, but is nonsensical in 2001.

If any government action is stealing it is the tax in the first place. Tax cuts are only reduceing the amount of the theft.

i.e. Don't worry about the debt. It is our children's problem, not ours.

Like Rush always says: "It's your money".
