It took until 4 am, then most of today to get my system and firetalk working again. It was a nightmare...

Use the uninstaller in your control panel to remove it, also delete the Set up installer, and download it again. I installed it seven times. It was a problem with a file called MFC42.dll, which is in your sytems a few times, Qcharts and others. I had several differnt versions, and it caused a conflict when I installed the new Firetalk VQ.
