My next-door neighbors when I lived in a village on Mindanao (long story) once had a pig die while giving birth; one piglet survived, so they let it suckle with a littler of puppies. The pig grew up thinking it was a dog; it would run out in the path and oink at people walking by. It also grew up thinking anything that hangs under a dog gives milk, a misimpression that caused some disturbance among the male dogs. An odd situation, which didn't last long - the family grandma, distressed at piggie's habit of sitting under the table and begging for scraps, insisted on an early appointment with the spit.

Catching up with the ne topics: I loathe poodles, but I love tropical fish. I like watching an aquarium far better than I like watching television: the characters are more varied and the dialogue is infinitely superior....
