STrinque: Jeff Arias of BiPolar (Company PWTC is acquiring with superior paste technology and 25 years of manufacturing specialty batteries) gave a presentation at the battery conference in Long Beach on Jan 12. It was "public" information I suppose since anybody paying the $500 plus fee could attend, but all we knew was his subject: higher efficiency combined with enhanced material utilization. Anyhow, since then demand has taken us from 40s to plateaus in 50s, 70s, and more recently in 90s with intraday brushes at or above a buck. As of moments before the closing bell today, RB poster Hasher put up a few paragraphs of text ragingbull.altavista.com from Jeff A's presentation with statistics showing BPI paste combined with PWTC foamed plates give 81% improvement in efficiency over grid plates and recharge in much less time.
