<< What do you think of AMSWA? >>
hey guys....just a little input while i'm monitoring your discussion. <G> sorry, i have too much to do to get too involved on another thread. anyway, i'd be VERY careful with AMSWA--even though from a valuation standpoint they look cheap. my one main bone of contention is their management. heck, bob, i'd put them right up there with ROSS's management team! AMSWA is always good for a pop when the sector gets hot, but beyond that, i'd be careful. similar to ROSS, they have an extremely difficult time attracting and retaining good sales people. it's also my understanding that they outsource almost all of their R&D. correct me if i'm wrong.... at this point, AMSWA is merely an asset play, with their cash, LGTY shares and a big chunk of real estate in atlanta's buckhead area. my guess would be management would love to drive it into the dirt, build LGTY and then do an LBO to purchase the assets of AMSWA. hmmmmm....sounds like a strategy!

oh, and i'm seriously looking at IMIC after being out since it hit the teens a year or so ago.... i'll let ya'll know my findings if you're interested.
