Well, for example, the NRA is a political action committee with one of the best and savviest PAC programs around. They have one issue, stick to it without being distracted, and they are very effective. I know these are little guys because I see their bumper stickers on all kinds of vehicles from the rusty beater to the big rigs. I'm one of them. Both of my vehicles have 140,000 miles on them, and an "I'm the NRA" tag. They're little guys and they know they are on firm ground. It's not the big corporate giants pushing this issue, I can tell you. The biggest in the industry is none too big, and every one of them is at risk from people (and PACs like Handgun Control, Inc.) who don't believe in true freedom. This is the grass roots at its best, and don't let any leftwing baloney deceive you into thinking it's just a bunch of rednecks, either.

You don't seem to grasp the fact that Bush beat Gore every way from Sunday. That's probably your problem.
