Derek, these rogue nations best chance of successful attack is not through an ICBM which is costly, technically difficult and assures the rogue nation of annihilation by the US arsenal. Instead they would certainly use biologic (maybe anthrax, or poisoning NYC water) or if they preferred a nuke they would use a suitcase or a nuclear tipped cruise missile launched in nearby waters outside NY harbor. Maybe they could just fire a nuclear tipped torpedo from one of their subs. These would be quicker, much less costly, have a greater chance of success, a potentially not get their country vaporized, and possibly leave us dumbfounded as to the perpetrator. Oh by the way, our shield would be useless against all of the above. Do really think their are religious zealots in others places besides the US who are dumb enough to try the worst of all possible attack mechanisms. Only the religious right wants this shield and the defense department who gets to blow 120B on trying to make it work which it won't. And every major country in the world is against it, allies included
