Ish, I believe that the average 12 year old has better upbringing than that. Those people performed like the barbarians they are. Makes sense. The Russians are descended from the Scythian, the meanest bunch of barbarians that ever rode the Steppes. Those demo/libs would, naturally, feel a kinship to the ancestors of the Russians.
