A sad happening. I just opened my email from my daughter and she informed of a suicide of a beautiful young woman (in her 40's) that we have known for about 15 years. My heart goes out to her husband, children and parents. While we dialogue, at times vehemently, on these internet "airwaves", people all around us are hurting (and dying) for some encouragement, hope, and some tender words of love from God's people. A friend of mine that began drinking again after three years of sobriety---and I put out a request for counsel on this thread a few months back---was incarcerated a few days ago for his third dui---and will face felony charges for resisting arrest. I visited him in jail yesterday.. Sad. Sorrowful. Tough. I ask for your prayers concerning the above two situations. I have a heavy heart this morning. OMB
