I guess that Mr. Bouchard's proposal hit a nerve ! It pushed the CEO into doing something finally with this one. But the pr seems to be the same old story, letter of intent with no other details. Keep up the pressure and the CEO migth just actually sign a final agreement with somebody.
New York, New York, Jan 22, 2001 (Market News Publishing via COMTEX) -- Robert S. Hardy, President, of Triden Telecom, announced that on January 16, 2001 Digitec Information Systems, Inc. a Texas Corporation and Triden Telecom, Inc. signed a letter of intent for the acquisition of Digitec Information Systems, Inc. by a subsidiary of Triden in a tax-free, stock-for-stock exchange.
According to the terms of the letter of intent, which sets forth the basic terms pursuant to which Triden Telecom would acquire Digitec Information Systems, (www.digitecinfosys.com) through a stock purchase agreement by a subsidiary of Triden in which the subsidiary will acquire 100% of Digitec (including all options, warrants, etc., and any shares issued upon the exercise of any options, warrants, etc.). Mr. Hardy further stated additional information on Triden would be made upon the completion of the Audits and other ongoing negotiations. Mr. Hardy further stated management is looking for additional Mergers and/or Acquisitions for Triden to bring further value to the shareholders and the combined companies.
