I do some part time air charter flying for fun every now and then
and recently I fly some people to Clevland, Ohio. Before they
got on the plane I overheard someone say that they hoped that
they everyone would come to an agreement on the "Oracle or SAP"
decision. What I thought was most interesting was how this person
went about making the statement as if every company was experiencing the
same decision. I was not aware that these two companies competed
so closely on database solutions. My perception was that people always looked at
Oracle as the best solution...
