I sense something happening to all semi stocks that I believe is worth mentioning. Modern inventory management by retailers force suppliers to take some inventory risk. Anecdotal evidence suggest that currently retail inventories are at a reasonable level. If this is true then the inventory correction should be over sometime this quarter. On an absolute level Holiday sales weren't too bad but orders were shut off in early winter as it became apparent that it wasn't going to be a blowout season. That left oems sitting on inventory that stores didn't want hence the sudden drop in orders to suppliers. If this is correct sndk and many other semi stocks will be flying by march.
