Fuchi, I finally updated my bios!! Thanks for your help. Heres how it was fixed. I wanted to see if the leo databook was updated so i went to fic and found this link on accident. rd.fic.com.tw it recommended first to use a clean boot disk(I also contacted awd tech support and received the same response). this didnt work? Also was recommended to start win95 in safe mode by pressing f5 at boot. I did this and went to msdos prompt, then followed previous instructions(ones provided from you) and it worked. the fic page had my exact problem "insufficient memory". one note pcchips says you can use 5v or 12 v setting for flash rom voltage jumper. I had it set for 5v and received an error "cannot erase", so I set it for 12v and no problem anyway thank you for your help, now i need to figure out how to load the vxproide driver update! mike
