Hi levy - thanks for the information. I was not keen on the deal so I am guilty of imposing my hintsight to the reading. It appears there is the need to reassure the addressees "It is a merger." My paranoid self would say to me, hey, why is this defensive posture. The answer seems to be found later in the excerpt, "...some members of the media and certain individuals will call it an acquisition"

But more revealing to me, again, hintsight is 20/20, is this "Go2Net's executive management will continue in key executive roles when the companies complete the merger later this year". Maybe I am mincing words, but wouldn't "Go2Net's executive management will continue in key executive roles well into the future afterthe companies complete the merger later this year" more reassuring.

This is really academic, but I think we as outsiders should possess equal skepticism to all parties involved.

best, Bosco
