russ, thanks for the interesting post. There's also another copper use that hasn't been discussed, energy transmission. There must be new transmission lines to support the increase in electricity demand. Since the pollution issues force plant placement outside the demand areas, longer, larger copper lines will be required. Copper should be a boom commodity IMO. Maybe when the world understands?
