Another area of comfort is the fact that the recent NR does hint of a desire to keep the mine open/running for the foreseeable future, as per excerpt from the recent NR:

"Payment of $5-million to Kinross, $2-million of which is paid upon closing and the remainder in equal yearly instalments over a four-year period;"

"Repayment of the 1,716 ounces of gold in the mill circuit, to be paid over an 18-month period."
