Wayne,

Here is the link to Central Fund

centralfund.com

FYI, Central Fund's is managed by Philip Spicer, President and, among others, Stefan Spicer, his son...

Stefan Spicer is President of Central Escrow Agency Ltd. who was formed to act as escrow agent for e-gold Ltd.

CEF is a good way to buy metals. I would guess their gold is located in the same building as e-gold, which is Bank of Nova-Scotia, ScottiaMocatta Precious and Base Metals, Scotia Plaza in Toronto, Canada.

With CEF you will get a mix of silver & gold. CEF has at least 90% of its assets in these two metals... Last time I checked it was 97%.

Both e-gold and CEF are excellent ways to accumulate gold. But e-gold (and GoldMoney when it becomes available) are the way of the future. They will be much more liquid than gold bars or a close end gold fund. Think of the gold currencies as a bank account where your currency is 100% gold.
