You missed another key element: large short interest relative to float.

And I bet you couldn't do those commercials as well as Lutts does them!

Another thing that should have clued people in to the nature of the organization: Lutts "appropriated" the name "Cabot" for his newsletter because, we are told, he lived on a plot of land once owned by the establishment Cabot family in Massachusetts. Of course, he might just have wanted to present an image of wealthy WASP investment expertise to the gullible. If I were the Cabots, I'd sue for defamation.
