don't understand is the overall benefit gain (of SpinCo) once all 3G licenses are signed. Any thoughts?

I am under the impression that even though 3g licenses signed, need spinco spun off to seperately cross license for GSM stuff without diluting parent royalties.

So Spinco has to "out Intel" the competition by having the best chips to make it.

If I misinterpreted or if anyone else can amplify or clarify, chime in.
