True, It may just be a big weakness in the "enterprise" market that PMCS serves. Cisco has mentioned as had some other chips companies in the story I just posted. PMCS's problems may just be a lagging indicator as they seemed to be caught by surprise. Now the next bit of guidance in this segment will come from Cisco (one of the leading indictors). The fact that VTSS, AMCC, JDSU are all so bullish may just be a function of their particular markets. I would think that credit easing would help both the carrier and enterprise markets. The optical sector may get even stronger (JDSU, AMCC etc)than it is today while the Cisco, PMCS regain their positions.
