Nah, I hold no brief for Gore's behavior either. It was wrong and stupid to attack individual canvassing boards for trying to do their jobs. But at least he wasn't trying to discredit and delegitimize the idea of manual recounts, which are a normal part of the voting process. That upset me more.

I read that a lot of Democrats in Washington still are very angry over Republican tactics in Florida. I don't think all the anger is just because they lost in the end.
