appreciate your agreement that a predominance of Bush - Gore double punches would indicate fraud, and I agree that that is to be determined.

Regarding the Palm Beach County overvote, I noticed this quote from the Palm Beach Post article How Gore Lost the Election. It is from one of the counters in the Palm Beach recount:

Sam Weitzman, a Democratic counter from suburban Lake Worth, said the repeated challenges by Republican counters wasn't what bothered him.

"The thing that really, really troubled me was the number of double-punched ballots," Weitzman said. "Bush had very few, obviously because he was first on the ballot. But the number that had Gore as one of the multiple-punches was astonishing.

"In the first two precincts in which I participated, Gore would have picked up 175 votes."
