Dear Guardians of the classic SI:

I know it's been a while, but we're finally moving forward on a Classic SI
Format customization option. I apologize for the delay. Meanwhile, I'm
sure you've been enjoying the Classic SI, and as promised, we won't take it
down until we've got this other option for you.

We have researched our various options and where our limitations will be.
As I mentioned before, we won't be able to make this look *exactly* like
the old SI, but we're going to do our best to get it as close as possible.
Heck, you might even like some of the changes that we are forced to make.

Attached are a couple of screen shots with how the Classic SI navigation
can be overlayed onto the new format (attached as .gif files). Keep in
mind that these are first pass, and we're looking for your comments. We've
only done two screens at this point - a message page and SubjectMarks page.
Please let me know what you like/don't like, and please be as specific as
possible.

Also, I would suggest that you reply to All, so that everyone else will see
your comments as well.

Finally, I want to introduce you to John Busby. We have recently hired
John as our SI Producer. He'll be working with me to actually implement
this feature, along with other new features on SI. In short, he'll be a
lot easier to get ahold of if you have questions or comments than I will,
so he'll be your "go to" guy throughout this process.

Guarians meet John. John meet the Guardians.

Now, let's have some fun.

Thanks,

Bryan
