Time Magazine had some info on the Rich pardon. Apparently there was a big campaign, and someone got every charity Rich contributes to (& there are a lot of them) to write in asking for the pardon. His ex-wife Denise Rich says she didn't organize it. Since he dumped her for a younger woman, she doesn't seem to have a whole lot of motive, on the face of it.
