Thursday January 25, 11:25 pm Eastern Time Asia Global has a bright future - BusinessWeek NEW YORK, Jan 25 (Reuters) - Telecoms carrier Asia Global Crossing Ltd (NasdaqNM:AGCX - news) has a bright future and high profile customers, according to a report in BusinessWeek's Inside Wall Street column. The company, which was spun off from Global Crossing last year, sells undersea bandwith capacity to WorldCom (NasdaqNM:WCOM - news), Qwest (NYSE:Q - news) and AOL Time Warner (NYSE:AOL - news). Major backers include Microsoft Corp (NasdaqNM:MSFT - news) and Japan's Softbank Corp. One analyst quoted in the report said Asia Global is her top telecom pick for Asia, and gives it a $20 price target. Asia Global closed up 1/8 at $9, off a 52-week high of $9-13/16, up from a year low of $3-7/8.
