Sangamo BioSciences to Release Fourth-Quarter and Year-End 2000 Financial Results on February 1, 2001

RICHMOND, Calif., Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Sangamo BioSciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: SGMO - news)
today announced that the company will release its fourth-quarter and year-end financial results on
Thursday, February 1, 2001 after the market closes. The earnings release will be followed by a
conference call at 2:00 p.m. PST, which will be open to the public. During the conference call, the
company will review these results and provide guidance for 2001.
