Nope. Only two people showed up -- Phil Strauss and a lawyer. Phil read the script, said they didn't have enough votes and were abandoning the pursuit of the issue "for now", and ended the meeting. Since there were over 7 million shares represented by proxy, they had well over the one-third requirement for a quorum; but they didn't have enough votes to pass the proposal. They said they didn't feel they lost on the issue, but were dropping it for now. No discussion of any other issues at the meeting. GOOD NEWS TODAY -- the judge finally ruled on Fairhaven -- BioSafe won the case! Makes one wonder if they'll reverse the write-off or just go forward without having to amortize any costs when they recognize the revenue.
