The great reckoning outlined a deflationary scenario that did not develop in the US, as the authors suggested, but what happened in Indonesia sure seems to be following the script.

Recently, additional export controls on capital confirm the trend. Nationalization is a low probability outcome, but so were some of the other steps they took to protect their markets from the ugly capitalists of the west.

One way to play copper might be CH- CEF of chile, which produces copper. Not a pure play and certainly not a big mover though.
