OT/Agree:Another Democrat would have been worse than Clinton.
Because he/she would not have co-opted the Republican
ideals like Clinton did and claim them as his own.

Some people would argue that we removed the previous
Big Nipple in the Sky

...Religion

( " the Opium of the people " as Marx described it )

and replaced it with Uncle Sam.

The important difference however is that Religion cost
the tax payer and the Economy nothing.

Uncle Sam on the other hand sucks the life blood out of the Economy.
Sometimes just a little bit like a bloodsucker.
Other times they hemorrhage you to death like in Communism and severe Socialism.

All this of course is done in the name of " Compassion ".

Remember, true Compassion also known as Charity
is freely thought off, and freely given,
expecting nothing in return.

Only living people can be compassionate and charitable.

Inanimate objects like the Government are not able to be
either free of compassionate.

All it can do is exercise coercion through forced taxation.

That is the antithesis of true compassion and charity.

And therein lies the gravest error underlying 20th and 21st
Century forms of Government: Confusing free charity/compassion
with coerced redistribution through taxation.

The first has moral and religious worth.

The later ( compassion through coerced taxation )
has zero moral or religious value.
because it is done against your will,
