That will be accessed by a chip other than the MSM5200 which is applicable to Asian countries with no existing GSM (Japan & possibly Korea), not to Europe or anywhere else where GSM is currently deployed. Those countries will require a multi-mode GSM/W-CDMA or preferably GSM/GPRS/W-CDMA chip.

Note I say "possibly" Korea, because Korea is going to want multi-mode IS95 -A/B/C and W-CDMA.

A (undefined) multimode chip is shown way to the right on the latest Qualcomm roadmap.
