There is one rationale for overlaying charts. Human nature has not changed. It is a measure of how people reacted to similar situations. The Japanese were in denial. The questions we have to ask ourselves is, "Are we also in denial? Are the circumstances really different? It is not an easy call. I tend to think now is different, but then I keep telling myself that greed and fear haven't changed. Best to all, John
