Sue, I believe it has to be five picks.

The reason(I would guess) for that would be if two or more people coincidentally made the same pick it would be a deadlock tie if that pick won.

If you have to choose five stocks, the chances of someone else picking your same five is pretty slim.

Of course that still doesn't rule out the possibility of a tie.

Besides, Would you really put all your acorns into one basket to carry around for a full month<G>

On a side note, I still think it should be broken up into four contests a year; lasting one calendar quarter for each contest.
