Your previous short-to-zero was a bankrupt company, apparently, judging from the ticker symbol.

I wonder if it's more likely that a stock will be declared worthless if the co. is BK.

In ZERO's case, I'd guess that the stock will become a clean shell. I say clean, assuming that there are no lawsuits pending against it, and the company apparently has no creditors. That's probably different from what happened to the BK company whose stock you shorted previously.
