Rather dogmatic.

Sprint may disagree. They're pulling a lot of content together - including games for the kids - and kid in us all. And I suspect SMS will be equally fashionable here - especially with the urchins. And Sprint will have the capability to spice up SMS with legitimate graphics capabilities - just as Asia plans to.....

Perhaps your view is too Verizonocentric?

Verizon will be tardy - but Sprint should prove a sufficient catalyst.

Certainly the assumption that little interest this month in mobile wireless data in the US leads invariably to the fact that this condition will remain static might provide comfort or confirmation to some with associated vested interests.

You may want to read "The Tipping Point". It explains how, and how fast an idea or product can spread... Especially in a society like ours.
