<<<This is a misrepresentation of the digital camera market.>
No it's not. Especially for SNDK. Minimum of $400 for a camera and flash storage, $400 for a decent printer with paper. Anyone buying more expensive flash memory (SNDK) is spending a LOT more than $800, too.

Maybe people already have printers. But not good enough handle pictures.

Like every other tech gadget to hit the market, as long as the product is being mass produced, the prices will quickly fall. VCR's used to be big bucks, now a bottom of the line one can be had for $39 and a decent one for $100. DVD's, were big bucks when they, now best buy has them for like $50 for the cheapies and the nice one's are a whole helluva lot less then they used to be. think of all the tech gadgets....heck my HP printer was big bucks in it's day...now for LESS, you can get BETTER. Cellular phones. I was one of the first to get one when they came out...I think I remember paying like $1400.00 or something...now they give em' away. A nice camera used to be big bucks, now their nothing...same with cam corders and every other mass produced consumer tech gadget. Heck, look when digital camera's first came out.....way big bucks...now a cheapie is relatively cheap, and the nice one's are getting cheaper by the day. In another year or so, nobody is gonna have to pay that much money for a nice digital camera, printer and etc....like everything else, the price will drop enough all of mainstream america to own one. Look at regular camera's or VCR's or lots of other examples. Years ago, when these products were expensive maybe low income folks didnt own camera's or VCR's....but now.....heck, folks on welfare have vcr's and a 35 mil camera and color tv.

Bottom line, yes, with a bad economy, folks will spend less on the higher dollar items, but at the same time, as time goes by and technology improves, more tech stuff comes out, pricing drops on stuff that has been on the market. That big dollar top of the line digital camera will be half price next year at this time if not less. Additionally, there has been talk of flash prices having to come down.......many flash co ceo's have said as much. they have also said this is a GOOD thing. First, every day, more and more gadgets require flash memory. Next, price cuts will be made up by higher sales and more items using flash. next, the lower price runs down to the consumer. All of a sudden, that $899 VCR is only $100.........

In the short term, there is no way to determine what sndk does, as it is at the mercy of the naz. If naz rallys, so too shall sndk...if naz falters, so too shall sndk. However, two things come to mind. One : SNDK is pretty beaten down as it is....even ZEEV said longer term he thinks sndk will be $100 easy. So at $30, if your looking long term, it's a good price. It also currently sports a very low pe which is a big plus. Secondly, IF it does drop to some numbers I have heard
thrown around like $24 and $17 and even $10, then as "believers" in the company we should be thrilled that Mr. Market is allowing us to buy something we believe will be much higher in the future, for very discounted prices. If you don't believe in the long term, then I suggest shorting or moving on to something else.

Great weekend to all....this post not directed at any one person....just some rambling thoughts....
