Perhaps Norton felt forced to move to the center. I believe Bush has moved to center by doing away with school vouchers, but I'm not sure about that since I haven't followed the education reform bill. I plan to vote for initiatives that will improve our public schools. In this State they are in a sorry state. We have the reputation as the third worst state in the country when it comes to the ratio of number of students per teacher so folks want to lower class size and schools need repairing. We need the government tax cut so that we can pay local taxes!. Are taxes high in Texas?
