AMAT alone reported over $4B in backlog 3 months ago. At the last cycle low they still had almost $1B backlog. The SEMI org. 'backlog' I chart is not so well defined. I simply integrate [orders-shipments] and add a number to avoid negative 'backlog'. But the number from AMAT gives us a sanity check.
