Hi Dawg,

I am so happy to see you posting here. Dawgs of all sorts are welcome here to share stories about their puppies!!

My 4 puppies all got new games for their GameBoys last night. Games were their surplus Christmas gifts that they did not get being that we had went overboard as it was. I had been waiting for a good excuse to give them to them. I was thinking Valentine's day, but yesterday a good excuse cropped up. Two of the children got their report cards. Michael's report card consisted of 1-A and the rest B's. I am not one to insist on A's as long I know the are putting for effort in school. His report card was ok by me.
Brian's report card was not as glowing overall, but if one were to just look at it from the improvement stand point, his report card was better. Brian had improved overall 4 letter grades. He did not go down in any subjects. He has struggled with school all along. I have seen him make great strides, even though he still has a ways to go. I feel that his accomplishments need to be noticed and complimented. I don't believe that I need to wait for him to have a perfect report card...(like his sisters!!) for him to get acknowledgement for his efforts. I feel to delay that would be discouraging. Everyone likes to have their efforts rewarded. With the report cards such that they were, I felt I had found the excuse I was looking for to give them their new games. They were thrilled. Today my house is like a ghost town. I think I will have to pry their hands from around those GameBoys.......awwwww but the quiet!!!! My house is so silent except for the hum of the computer...(darn fan!) and the back round "music" of the GameBoys from 2 rooms away!!!
