When the Control Panel window appears Double-Click on the MULTIMEDIA icon. When the Multimedia window appears click on the AUDIO tab if it is not already showing in front. Place a check mark in the box Show volume control on the taskbar by clicking in the box. Click on APPLY at the bottom of the window and then click OK.
