You're memory is faulty. In 1981, Congress gave Reagan his Tax cut, but did not restrict domestic spending in any real way. Reagan wanted domestic spending cut far more than was done by the House controlled by Democrats. Furthermore, he was not believed that tax collections would rise after the tax cut, but that is exactly what they did. Had the budget passed in its entirety, it would have been in balance.

Your memory is faulty. Congress spent less than the budget sent down by Reagan, every year of his administration.

Reagan wasted enormous amounts of money on stupid projects like Star Wars, the Ronnie Raygun SuperConducting Mushroom Farm, debt interest payments, etc...

It must be great being Republican. You can always live on folklore and ignore the facts.

BTW: Bush's Star Wars will likely provoke other kinds of ugly terrorist actions. Why engage in such inflammatory actions for a useless, expensive, jerk-off boondoggle?
