I'm reading Anne George's latest mystery. Set in a rural country with snake-handlers in it. It's her funniest yet. She has a great ear for the territory.

I've added that to my list. I love mysteries and I try to read those that give me a dose a different culture or perspective with my story. I like Shizuko Natsuki for cosmopolitan Japan. Barbara Neely's protagonist is a black maid. I haven't been reading much the last few years but plan to change that soon. But then I already told you that.
