Nadine, it is the responsibility of every citizen to be sure to have their certified copy of their birth certificate! And everyone can get theirs from the Vital Statistics Bureau of the County and State in which they were born. As you know, drivers licenses no longer have to have the birth certificate at time of issue, and social security numbers mean nothing unless a birth certificate was used in the first place to receive the SS numbers.

I believe we as Citizens ought to INSIST that voter registration accompany the same proof of identify that an employer must gather and keep on every employee they hire....the I-9....

If people don't think we need to have proof of citizenship to vote, it tells all of us some of the problem that we have and will continue to incur as far as voting "irregularities."

Can you just imagine yourself being able to go to any other country in the world that enables their citizens to vote, and try to vote in their country even though you really aren't a citizen?? Didn't think so. I can't either.
