I'd bet a nickel he's referring to Wade Cook books. Though I must admit it was WC that first got me interested in the covered call strategy. I read some of his books and came away knowing that I wanted to try CCing - but not really knowing *how* to go about doing it. That's where the meatier tomes like McMillan really helped. And this forum as well.

I also found George Angell's book "Sure Thing Options Trading" to be helpful.
