Don't forget the doom and gloom predictions a few years ago when Ray Lane sold several million shares. He sold the shares to pay the divorce settlement to his ex-wife (now that ORCL is up several hundred % since then, I wonder if she regrets not taking the stock?). Nobody seems to look for the reason that an insider sells, they just panic on the filing. Larry could easily sell 5 million shares for no other reason than he wanted to buy a new yacht (or another computer manufacturer -- is N-cube still around?). If I'm going to worry about Larry selling shares the filing better be for hundreds of millions of shares. -Michael
