Thanks for the post on Al McGuire. I actually met him once. I was working in a restaurant and he was dining alone (probably traveling to another game); he was an analyst with Dick Enberg at the time I believe. I talked with him just briefly but it was clear that what Rick Majerus wrote about his being the kind of guy who would be the same no matter who he was talking with was really true. Al, you were quite a man. The world is a little less brighter without you.
