If that is true, that would be ironic indeed but I have a hard time believing it. Are those numbers from the same people that do the CPI and PPI reports showing no inflation? <g> I happen to like the medical shows where they show ERs getting bizarre cases. You never see anyone that crashed his Beemer or broke his arm jumping for joy as he made his first billion. It is always some gang banger or druggie that is never going to pay his medical bill much less pay for an aspirin. People complain about the high cost of medicine and ask why their insurance is so high when it is showing on TV every hour. Those that get the most care tend to pay the least amount.

Just for my son to stay in the Hospital for a week came to over 40K. How many of those LA bangers can pay that and of course I am sure they have great insurance plans. <ggg> Even in non-insurance cases. The latest Geographic survey showed that the less educated you are, the less money you made and the pooror the neighborhood you lived in, the higher the birth rate was. It worked out to sommething like the poor or dumb outpaced the educated and wealthy by 3 to 1. Just think how much an OB bill is for delivery and then add in extra complications due to poor prenatal care etc.

Good Luck,

Lee
