Scumbria, I'm not quite sure what your point is. However, if you imply that just because no "exciting" new products have come out of AMD in the recent months its ok to pollute the AMD thread with OT stuff, then I disagree with you. Every OT post on the thread is an unnecessary burden on the time of those interested AMD investors that are scanning this thread for relevant and interesting info. If there is nothing to discuss, then from my perspective, it would be perfectly fine to have an idle thread. TG P.S. With AMD, sometimes its ok not to have any announcements. (I was an AMD investor during the days of the "late mask fix" problem, K6 yield crash problem, for than matter K5 not being able to yield at greater than 166Mhz problem (and being marked as "PR" processors). If you divide the progress that AMD has made in the market place by the number of months it has taken to get here (from the K5 days), I think that one would arrive at quite a good "average" of things happening every other month :)
