CARP: few years ago, I liked to fish carp for fun and gave to my taiwanese friends: we had steamed carp for the meal. Was told that when you catch the carp, pour the vinegar into their mouth to rinse out the blood in their vein and it helps to get rid of the fishy/muddy smell.
