Dear Frank:

Triggers are sometimes very small. Only one rock has to give to create an earthquake if it is in the right place. Breaking a rock is easy, laughable even, but, it can create a huge event like the earthquake in India or the SF quake of 1906. It definitely was not the Democrats who wanted to cut defense spending.

Its laughable that you forget that foreign relations is in the perview of the President. That is the ones who set policy. Congress does do some backseat driving of course.

BTW, you probably are not laughing about the haircut you net worth took during the selloff triggered by a loudmouth who said that Tantalum Capacitors are decreasing in price ergo a recession is coming. TCs decreased because 6 months prior their price went too high and they were designed out where possible. The new lower TC products were beginning to take over from the older higher using ones (6 months is the design cycle for many products) and demand dropped below supply. However the fear of his call (and some sharks who smelled blood), cut your worth and made many others disappear. Are you laughing about that "Laughable" Event yet?

Enough said.

Pete
