Paul, we're 3 days from FOMC. The markets have fully discounted a 50 bp cut. Anything less than 50 will most likely cause the markets to plunge. A 50 bp is non event. Naz may experience a very short-lived (10 minutes) spike on the 50 bp announcement but that's it and the Naz may still pull back on the news. I think the announcement on Wed is a no win situation if you're long. I intend to reload on the short side by COB Tuesday for a 1-2 day play. Since I've had one of the best months ever, my main objective into Wed is to preserve profits. Won't risk much. There're a few earnings plays next week on my mind. After that, I'll probably take a rest in Feb. March will bring more excitement. Regards, Tom
